As a blend of our best Chardonnay vineyard sites, the Estate bottling is one of the
most compelling illustrations of the mountain. Winemaker Lisa Valtenbergs blends
the wine with shrewd precision, balancing aromatic intrigue, texture and the
Mayacamas signature structural elements into a pure reflection of the vintage.
In 2015, the Estate exhibits buoyant fruitwhite peach, green apple and lemon
curdwith white flowers, custard and vanilla shading the background. The palate
mirrors that exuberant profile within a rich, generous texture and walks a tightrope,
balancing citrus pith and a thrilling stony note a sly wink to the volcanic activity
from 35 million years before. Decant for further aromatic and textural enjoyment.
