It is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from 40-year-old vines grown in gravel and clay-limestone soils. Medium-to-full-bodied, it beautifully balances fruit, terroir, and acidity, with aromas and flavors of black currants and black cherries laced with accents of baking spices, gravel, cedar, and the merest hint of woodsmoke.
