Growth Specialist/Sales Representative Position


Looking for multiple representatives to handle the New York/NJ market. Primary

role will be visiting accounts including but not limited to restaurants, bars, beverage

centers, liquor stores etc. There is opportunity for advancement and growth with

the right attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.


Job Statement: The Representative is responsible for performing direct sales and

customer service activities while providing education to retailers and consumers on



Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to

multitask, works well with others, work in a fast paced environment, proficient in

computers with emphasis in excel (CRM programs), basic alcohol knowledge,

Beverage experience a plus, must be motivated and able to work independently, able

to take initiative in pursuit of sales goals, able to work some nights and weekends,

proficient in technology devices such as smart phones, computers, tablets, etc.…


Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent, college degree

preferred but not a requirement, beverage/alcohol industry experience preferred


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Make systematic calls in an assigned

territory; solicit sales from assigned accounts and new accounts, present and place

new items in all assigned accounts, maintain up-to- date information on route

activity, reach or exceed all sales goals and quotas for territory, maintain the highest

possible rapport with customers, work closely with all company employees to

maintain a high standard of service for our customers, call on all accounts on a

systematic basis as directed by Sales Manager, know customer key personnel and

maintain good rapport, place and maintain current POS material, maintain adequate

shelf space, strive for proper shelf placement and cold box placement, check retail

pricing and report irregularities to customer and Sales Manager, menu placements,

Complete Daily Reports and forward to Field Sales Manager as directed.,

acknowledge each month’s sales commission/quota sheet in the Employee Portal.,

strive to book ads and feature promotions, maintain Route Book., utilize technology

(Hand held, Email, Cell phones) to provide efficient customer service, improved

business turn-around times, and enhanced communications., assist Sales Manager

wherever necessary i.e. special events, wine tastings, routing alignments,

merchandising, etc., advise the Sales Manager of areas where the company can save

money and promote company efficiencies, keep all customers advised of sales

trends, promotions, special pricing, etc., advise Sales Manager of all problems and

opportunities. Recommend solutions, other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Compensation: Salary plus bonus. Expense stipend; negotiable.
